I am in the market for a new bike, to restart my bike riding hobby.
I do not own a bike at this moment, owned a Triumph Trophy 900cc bike ages ago.
Have looked at the following bikes:
The CF MOTO 800 MT Sport, The Voge 900DSX and
The Voge 625DSX.
Why?
Because they are resonably afordable and come with good specs and reviews.
Specially on youtube, you can find a lot of movies with reviews of the machines.
CF Moto 800 MT Sport on Youtube.
Voge DS900X on Youtube.
Voge DS625X on Youtube.
No (real) reviews of the
Voge DS625X yet, because it is new and not in showrooms in Europe yet.
So I suggest that you look at reviews of the
Voge DS525X, like I did.
After all, the
Voge DS625X is the bigger brother of the
Voge DS525X.
For now just doing my research and paying vists to dealers in Portugal and later (next year) also in The Neterlands.
Will select and buy one of the above end of 2025 or at the latest in Januari 2026.
Stay
tuned for updates.
17-09-2024:
Today Alex from
Moto PC in Portimão let me know, that my Voge DS900X is ready to be picked up.
Just another 3 weeks to go till I am in Portugal again. And I will get her.
05-09-2024:
Ok, it has been a while since I updated this page.
But the word is out. I ordered my Voge 900DSX black Knight.
It will be delivered at the end of October 2025.
I ordered it at
MotoPC, the Voge dealer in Portimão, Portugal.
They are a great dealer, with a lot of knowledge and experience with Voge bikes.
Also they have a great service department, which is important for me.
Then you might ask, why did you switch from the ds625x to the ds900x?
Well, after watching a lot of reviews on youtube and reading reviews on the internet, I came to the concusion that the ds900x would be a better fit for me.
More power, more comfort, and more options.
Also the ds900x is more of a tourer, and that is what I want to do with my bike.
So the Voge 900DSX it is.
You might also ask, why does it take so long to get the bike?
Well mainly because of the fact, that I am a Dutch guy living in Portugal for 50% of the year and in The Netherlands for the other 50% of the year.
So the dealer ordered it later than normal, to be sure that I can pick it up in Portugal when I am about to be there.
Will keep you updated on this page.
21-02-2024:
Have been busy with work and doing other stuff, so that why there where no updates.
Also watching lots of reviews to be able to select the bike I want to buy.
So the big news now is that I selected my new bike.
Based on reviews and my wants. needs, nice to haves and how I am going to use my new bike, I selected the Voge DS900X.
Why might you ask?
- Well I love bigger bikes, I owned a Triumph Trophy 900cc bike iback in the days.
- Going ito use it mainly for touring around Portugal(home base from October till May) and Spain.
- Like comfort, good seat, enough power
All this and more is what the
Voge DS900X offers me.
So the
Voge DS900X it is.
To come back on (movie) reviews, I really like the reviews below:

20-12-2024:
Today I went to
Ria moto, the Voge dealer in Faro, Portugal.
Took a look at the nice shop they got there, not verry big, but nice and got good information from them.
They had the Voge DS900X on display, and there also was a Voge DS525X Black Knight outside with it's owner.
After I got home, and watched some reviews of the Voge DS525X, I came to the concusion, that I did not need the Voge DS900X,
and the Voge DS525X would be enough for me.
Spending 4000 Euro's more on even more power and some options I do not really need (like heated handles and seat), was the breaking point for me.
But that being said, the (little) extra power which the all new Voge DS625X gets, I would be more than happy.
So for now my mind is set on the Voge DS625X.
To be continued...
